About the Artist

Located in the South West Suburbs of Chicago, Bobby Llereza is a versatile artist with over 20 years experience in the coin-op game industry.    His career has focused on digital and 3D art, animation and motion graphics for various platforms ranging from coin-op, casino gaming, mobile and PC  to full motion video and cinematics for video games.

His first industry experience was an exciting task of animation, modeling and rendering on some of the cut scenes for the Disney Stitch Experiment 626 video game for the Playstation 2.
His early list of contributions soon flourished with several coin-op,  PC and "advergames" with Game Refuge, Inc., which also included creating assets for casino slot machine games for WMS gaming; most notably Monopoly Grand Hotel and Match Game, to name a few.
One rare title he worked on, in collaboration with Game Refuge, was a custom coin-op arcade fighting game called, Spooky Smashers, for the Arcade Monster "bar-cade" franchise in Florida.
He was also a major contributor to multiple top earning  games on the PlayPorTT  touchscreen gaming tablet by TouchTunes (arguably the first wi-fi tablet before the ipad was even invented).  The PlayPorTT devices were primarily located in bars and restaurants like Buffalo Wild Wings.

During his 10+ year tenure with Team Play, he is most recognized as the sole game artist and animator, as well as Art and Animation Director, for the highly successful IP's, Fish Bowl Frenzy and Launch Code, which are redemption coin-op games.  He also worked on unreleased licensed game titles including: Jumanji, Ghost Busters, Family Guy and Grumpy Cat, which involved direct communication with Sony Pictures and Fox Studios licensing team.

His work at American Pinball, as a Senior Animator, included creating 3d art, animation, motion graphics and visual effects for the interactive video cutscenes displayed on the pinball game screens; including Hot Wheels(TM) and Galactic Tank Force pinball game.

Driven by his passion for creating visually appealing art, he prides himself on dedication and improving his artistic ability by continually challenging himself and adapting to change.   His accumulated experience and contributions to over 20 video games has not kept him stagnant in pursuit of his artistry.  He is constantly learning and enjoys being inspired by other artists while hoping to be an inspiration to others.  His active involvement with the network of online (and offline) digital art communities help him to better understand and adapt to the ever evolving landscape of art design, art trends, graphic styles and even relationship marketing.   In addition, while he keeps current with 3D art production pipeline techniques and tools,  his ability to think "outside the box" are essential to challenge himself and hopefully exceed expectations.

Bobby is currently working as a freelance artist with Jersey Jack Pinball on an undisclosed game title.   But he is available for work and always open to explore projects that will challenge his skillset and foster artistic growth within himself and among his peers.  His experience, passion, leadership and communication skills allow him to be more than capable of working with a team (in-house) or remotely, depending on the clients needs.  His constant mission is to create the most entertaining and memorable art works, animation, video games and cinematic experiences for all to enjoy. ;)
